The Pepecoin team announced on Discord that FlipSuite, a Discord-based rewards and tipping platform, is integrating Pepecoin (PEP) into its bot. Once live, Discord users will be able to tip PEP, run airdrops, and use FlipSuite’s broader community engagement features directly inside Discord servers.
The team posted the announcement on May 9, 2026:
Hello everyone, we are extremely excited to announce that FlipSuite has started integration for Pepecoin! FlipSuite is a Discord tipbot that supports a plethora of features including tips, airdrops, a points system, storefronts, and even custom quests!!
One great thing about FlipSuite is that activity happens on chain and you always have full access to your private keys. This means if the tipbot ever goes down, you will be able to withdraw your coins!
We’re also excited to announce that Pepecoin will be the very first PoW coin integrated on FlipSuite!!
The integration is expected to be ready in 2–4 weeks from the announcement date.
A first for FlipSuite
FlipSuite currently powers over 2,500 Discord communities across 37 blockchains, with features including tipping, airdrops, points systems, storefronts, and custom quests. Until now, every chain supported by the platform has been proof-of-stake or a similar non-mining consensus model. Pepecoin will be the first proof-of-work cryptocurrency to integrate, a small but real distinction in a Web3 tooling landscape that has largely focused on EVM-compatible and PoS networks.
For the Pepecoin community specifically, the integration represents the return of in-Discord tipping functionality, which has been absent from the server for some time.
Why the self-custody detail matters
Most Discord tipbots are custodial — when you deposit coins to use them, the bot operator holds your funds in their wallet. If the bot operator goes offline, gets hacked, or simply abandons the project, users can lose access to their balances.
FlipSuite operates differently. According to the team’s announcement, “activity happens on chain and you always have full access to your private keys.” In practical terms, this means users retain control of their PEP at all times, the bot acts as an interface for sending transactions rather than as a custodian holding funds.
This is a meaningful difference for users who lived through the previous era of Discord tipbots, where bot shutdowns occasionally meant lost coins. Self-custodial tipping flips that risk model: the worst-case scenario is the bot becoming unavailable, but the coins themselves stay accessible via standard Pepecoin wallets.
What users will be able to do
Once the integration is live, FlipSuite’s full feature set becomes available for PEP:
- Tipping — send PEP to other Discord users in any FlipSuite-enabled server
- Airdrops — distribute PEP to multiple users at once (e.g., for active community members or event participants)
- Points and rewards — community-specific point systems that can be tied to on-chain PEP rewards
- Storefronts — accept PEP in exchange for digital goods, roles, or services within Discord
- Custom quests — gamified engagement activities with PEP-denominated rewards
The exact rollout sequence — which features become available immediately versus rolled out over time — has not been disclosed.
Timeline
The team’s announcement places the ETA at 2–4 weeks from May 9, 2026, putting a probable launch window in late May to early June. Specific launch details, including which Pepecoin Discord features go live first, will likely be announced closer to the integration date.
